| This website has been launched to provide all homeowners with a central place for community information. Additionally, this will enable us all to communicate faster and cheaper within our community. On this site, you can access community covenents and rules, neighborhood directories, ACC forms, recreation and social information, financial information and more. Many of the HOA topics are viewable without a password. When you reach an area that requires a password, simply click on registration and follow the directions given. Homeowners Association Annual Meeting
| This year's meeting was June 24 2008 at Carmel City Hall.
Our new Board of Directors members are Stacey Birch, Beau Bricker, and David Waybright. Returning Board members are Bill Hensley and Bill Anderson. Thanks to our outgoing members John Arnold and Mike Colombe for all their efforts over the past year. |

Where do your dues go?
| This years total dues are $795. Here is where they are spent: $315 (40%) Grounds - All that green space costs a lot of money to maintain. $130 (16%) Trash - You get a much better deal than hiring your own removal. $103 (13%) Utilities - Energy costs for street lights and pool heater. $96 (12%) Pool - Carmel requires lifegaurd. Still a cheap pool membership $66 (8%) Admin - Our management company. Others are comparable in price. $48 (6%) Reserve - We have to build and keep a rainy day fund. $37 (5%) Insurance - In case someone gets hurt at the pool or on common area. | ![]() |

Common Areas
![]() | Please do not alter, mow, landscape, maintain, destroy, or otherwise change the condition of any common area or nature preserve. Some homeowners are mowing into the nature preserve behind their homes. Per the rules of our covenant, the association can charge these homeowners fees to bring the nature preserve back to its original state. |

| Established in 2000, the Lakes at Hazel Dell is a 278 home subdivision located in Carmel, Indiana, home of some of the finest schools in the state. The neighborhood is comprised of three sections to suit various lifestyles, The Overlook, The Meadows, and The Estates. Wonderful amenities such as a nature preserve, heated swimming pool, soccer field, basketball courts, playground, and sledding hill add to the family experience at Lakes at Hazel Dell. The Estates is home to a beautiful nature preserve with a walking trail and several lakes, some of which are home to aquatic life. In the Meadows, you will find a playground, basketball court, recreation field, sledding hill, two swimming pools, and more lakes. |
Schools
| Carmel Clay schools routinely rank among the highest in Indiana in a number of areas, including standardized achievement tests, state tests, SAT, ACT, advanced placement exams, graduation rate and pursuit of higher education. In addition to our outstanding academic programs, Carmel schools boast award-winning performing arts, extracurricular and athletic programs. The North Central Association accredits each school in the district. In 2004, Carmel High School was named one of the five “Best of the Best” high schools in Indiana by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
